There is also a wide range of restaurants (20+) and lots of bars, a modern medical centre, 2 primary schools, a high school, a private school, an excellent English speaking veterinary, all sorts of shops including a popular local wine maker (bodega) San Blas. Sax has a very good hotel, Fuente el Cura and a train station to Alicante, Valencia and Madrid.
